VI. Public Comment

A.

Public Comment

Angela White:

  • Thank you for letting us be apart of the meeting. Taken aback by the results from 6th grade and are concerned about trailing the county level. What is the plan for EVA to exceed the county level? Have noticed son was struggling in math, looking for support outside of the school day?
    • Students have come in with significant gap and EVA is working address academic gaps while giving students access to grade level materials. There is a all hands on deck approach to increase math minutes across grade levels and also invest in additional teacher training to increase content-specific expertise.
