Call the Meeting to Order
C. Allen called a meeting of the Academic Committee of Voices for International Business and Education to order on Tuesday Mar 10, 2015 at 5:40 PM.
II. Academic
A.
Indicators of academic achievement as outlined by school administration
Nan Ryan submitted a document for review concerning the Academics Dashboard. (copy to be provided to all board members by next board meeting.) Quarterly the HOS will issue a progress monitoring dashboard to the AC. Board members will be able to track student performance from one grade level to the next. Note: Add Foreign Exchange Students to the sub-groups.

Identify measures for determining improvement in appropriate indicators
See above.
C.
Assign topic for review for next meeting re enrollment/academic achievement.
Discussion of OneApp and how that negatively affects student achievement. For April meeting: Be prepared to discuss strategies for improving or changing the OneApp process to better address the needs of IHS, the only Type 2 Charter affected by this process.
