Dear Founding Board of Trustees,

Thank you for your support and guidance as we close out the year 2022! 2023 is fast approaching, leaving staff and students with much to reflect on as we head into a much needed break. 
 

• Our Students. Students participated in their very first Show Case for Dance, Music, STEM, and Art! Roosters had been working hard in enrichment, and everyone was excited to see the fruits of their labor in the Show Cases! Students are gearing up for the break with celebrations, winter work packets for home, and extra care and attention from their teachers. 
   
• Our Staff.  Staff have been working hard to wrap up their first semester of this school year! Last week we wrapped up STEP testing as well as completed a writers and reading unpacking day. The team is currently working on compiling the data from these assessments to analyze during our upcoming data day this week in preparation for new reading groups come January. 

We are eager to continue working with families, staff, students, and all of you come the new year!

  • Data Day 22 Dec
• Will have STEP and MAP data at January board meeting
• Kindergarten and 1st grade some students with misaligned IEPs
• 3rd and 4th grade shifting to prepare for state testing
• Moral is high, observations going well
• Academic committee working on relaunch of Academic Dashboard
