Dear Founding Board of Trustees,

 

The school year is officially over! It has been a whirlwind year for sure, with a lot to celebrate as well as some challenges. Some updates and reflections are included below.

 

Students - we had our second ever 5th grade graduation last week! It was a beautiful celebration of our students. We currently have 54 students that have accepted seats and registered for next school year, which would bring us to an enrollment of 374 next year. We are continuing to actively recruit to ensure our overall enrollment falls at at least 390 as we head into the new school year.

 

Staff - we said goodbye to 6 staff members (4 instructional and 2 non-instructional) and are excited to welcome 15 new staff members to our Team next school year for an overall FTE of 60 heading into SY25-26. We will be spending our time in July looking at data and determining the final plan for our August Staff PD before kiddos return on 8/27.

 

School Facility - we will be refreshing and doing minor repairs/renovations to our current building to prepare for the upcoming school year. As of now, the forever facility timeline is still on track as they will be beginning to dig the foundation this month and should complete the foundation by mid-August.

 

Community Engagement - there have been community concerns regarding our forever home location. I have attended two CB7 Education meeting to speak about our school and the new facility development.
