Call the Meeting to Order
V. Budnik called a meeting of the board of directors of Global Leadership Academy to order on Tuesday Dec 8, 2020 at 4:13 PM.

Approve Previous Board Minutes
V. Budnik made a motion to approve the minutes from Emergency Board Meeting: HS Campus on 10-26-20.
C. Hearn seconded the motion.
The board VOTED to approve the motion.

A.
GOCA HS: 2021 Spring Education Plan_EO Assurances_Charter
- The HS Principal, Ms. Whittingham reviewed with Mr. David, Principal of K8, the education plan for High School for the Spring of 2021.
- Florida Department of Education extended the Virtual Learning Model, and issued an executive order #7.
- The school prepared an education plan to continue Virtual and Brick to Mortal Learning.
- All required assurances were added as requested by the FLDOE.
- FLDOE will have access to all shared Data.
- Students that are absence, will have a more intensive plan to ensure they receive proper educational information.

Return to Work Bonus: 2020-2021
- Ms. Vitalina presented the current spreadsheet of 3 returning teachers from school year 2019-2020. GOCA pays the teachers that return to teach the following year a bonus depending on the number of years they have been employed with GOCA.
- The pay chart is included shows the current max a teacher/substitute/paraprofessional can receive depending on their years of work experience at GOCA.
- The board agrees that it is best to pay this year as well to the returning teachers their return to work bonus.
- High School campus currently has 3 teachers that transferred from K8 to HS for school year 2020-2021.
- The pay chart is included shows the current max a teacher/substitute/paraprofessional can receive depending on their years of work experience at GOCA.
