Call the Meeting to Order
V. Budnik called a meeting of the board of directors of Global Leadership Academy to order on Monday Oct 30, 2017 at 3:55 PM.
II. Discussion
A.
Hiring New ESE Teachers and Coordinators
- Pamela Timberlake was terminated as the ESE Coordinator and administration proposed Anita Dozier who has all the certification as the new ESE coordinator
- Ana Zec and Jacklyn Kallman were hired as ESE teachers
B.
School Data
- iReady shows the standards that students are proficient in; fairly accurate
- Results are expected to be higher than the predicted proficiency shown in iReady
- a short test will be taken every Friday on a few standards to show progress
- Science Fusion is used to show progress in middle school science
III. Action Items
A.
Approval of Hiring New ESE Teachers and Coordinators
V. Budnik made a motion to approve Anita Dozier as the new ESE coordinator and Ana Zec and Jacklyn Kollman as the new ESE teachers.
V. Kushnar seconded the motion.
The board VOTED unanimously to approve the motion.
