Each year the state is asking for a plan on how schools will use Salary Increase funds that were allocated the state. Global pay scale has salary increases built into the model. Global listed how salaries will be increased in accordance with its comp policy. Global will follow its comp policy. Board approval is needed for this plan.

  D. Out of Field Letters Vote Julie Hemphill 2 m

Global has a number of employees still working toward their required certifications to support our diverse group of students, and we must publish a board-approved letter to parents every October and February to notify them about who is on that list. Please review and approve the letters for each campus attached to be sent out in October.

  E. Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program Vote Dmitriy Goncharov 2 m

USDA initiative provided funding to feed elementary school children fresh fruit and vegetables from local growers. The program was successfully tested in SC, and now we apply for this program for FL schools. The total estimated annual budget for this program for FL schools is around $85,000. We searched for vendors that could source local fruits and vegetables. Mr. Greens company did not respond with a quote. The other two companies are Sunrise Fresh Produce Distribution and What Chefs Want. What Chefs Want has worked with other schools within this USDA program guidelines. They know all the federal guidelines and requirements for this program. As a result, we recommend the board approve What Chefs Want as a primary vendor for this program plan.
