Call the Meeting to Order
C. Wilkinson called a meeting of the board of directors of Washington Latin to order on Wednesday Oct 20, 2021 at 6:00 PM.
II. Naming of the Second Latin Campus
A.
Vote on Second Campus Name
Proposed name for the second campus is Washington Latin Public Charter School: the Anna Julia Cooper Campus
- Named for famous Black classicist from Washington DC
- Dr. Cooper embodies Latin's classical mission
B. Caldwell made a motion to submit the name Washington Latin Public Charter School: Anna Julia Cooper Campus to the PCSB as our proposed name for our second campus to open in summer 2022.
K. Merritt seconded the motion.
The board VOTED unanimously to approve the motion.

- Goal is $200,000
