D. Grant called a meeting of the Student Outcomes Committee Committee of Education for Change Public Schools to order on Monday Apr 29, 2024 at 5:02 PM.

II. Student Outcomes Committee Business

A.

Adopt the agenda

N. Gangopadhyay made a motion to Approve agenda.
D. Grant seconded the motion.
The committee VOTED unanimously to approve the motion.

Approve minutes from previous meeting

D. Grant made a motion to approve the minutes from Student Outcomes Committee Meeting on 03-04-24.
N. Gangopadhyay seconded the motion.
The committee VOTED unanimously to approve the motion.

T2 Data

  • Chronic absenteeism improved overall since last year, half of sites meeting internal goals
  • K-2 literacy progress monitoring data mostly for kids who struggled on prior screener
  • 3-5 and 6-8 ELA interims internally built to contain broader content; results indicate growth since earlier in the year
  • Adoption of new org-wide ELA curriculum next year increase alignment and collaboration
  • 3-5 and 6-8 Math internal interims indicate growth from earlier in year and progress toward SBAC goals
  • Most sites on track to meet EOY suspension target, emphasis on restorative justice
