II. Student Outcomes Committee Business

A.

Adopt the agenda

D. Grant made a motion to Adopt agenda.
V. Almendarez seconded the motion.
The committee VOTED unanimously to approve the motion.

Approve minutes from previous meeting

D. Grant made a motion to approve the minutes from Student Outcomes Committee Meeting on 12-21-22.
V. Almendarez seconded the motion.
The committee VOTED unanimously to approve the motion.

C.

EOY Student Outcomes Report

  • Chronic absence data, impact from covid, multiple infections, some significant improvements at particular sites
  • K-2nd literacy data from earlyReading and CBM (FastBridge), big reduction in kids testing at minimal growth, foundational skills to build long-term foundation
  • NWEA MAP at ASCEND and Latitude (both take Math, Latitude also takes Reading)
  • Review of 3rd-8th aReading proficiency, aMath proficiency
  • Suspension data, half of schools met aggressive targets
  • SCAI survey to measure sense of belonging (results based on three particular questions)
  • Priorities for next year
