Call the Meeting to Order
N. Arrowsmith called a meeting of the board of trustees of CASA ACADEMY to order on Wednesday Apr 20, 2016 at 7:05 PM.

Approve Minutes

A.
Vote on 180 Day Calendar
D. Brown made a motion to authorize a 180-day calendar for the 2016-2017 academic year to be implemented by the School Directors.
T. Wee seconded the motion.
The board VOTED unanimously to approve the motion.
B.
Vote on resignation of Governing Board members
D. Brown made a motion to approve the resignations of Julie Rhein, Olu Omodara, Rachel Evans, Linda Alexander and Jelani Chance from the CASA Academy Governing Board.
T. Wee seconded the motion.
The board VOTED unanimously to approve the motion.
C.
Vote on new board member applications
D. Brown made a motion to elect Terry Baughman (a.k.a. Rhette Baughman), Brian Locker, Danielle Puente, Alison Kirk, Mary Dahlen and Evan Bolick as CASA Academy Governing Board members pending approval of the Arizona State Board for Charter Schools.
P. Vemulapalli seconded the motion.
The board VOTED unanimously to approve the motion.
