In accord with Governor’s Proclamation Number JBE 2020-41: French and Montessori Education Incorporated (FAME) will hold its April Board Business Meeting on Saturday, April 25, 2020 at 10am via teleconference or video conference. You can find the complete meeting agenda here. See below for details on the meeting:
The staff will provide updates as related to Instruction/Academics, Operations, Development/Fundraising and Finances during the facilities shutdown period. Additionally, a presentation of the February and March 2020 Financial reports will be made. Staff will also provide updates on ongoing topics such as Strategic Planning and the Training Center as well.
Furthermore, Request for Proposals (RFPs) will be presented to the board for transportation and food service as information items. It is expected that the RFPs will be issued within the upcoming weeks.
The board will consider a series of action items including the approval of Audubon School’s 2020-2021 calendar amendment which was presented at the February 2020 meeting. There are also more action items on:

- Approving an addendum to the 2019-2020 Pupil Progression Plan to address Grading, Promotion and Retention due to facility closures

Change 1st Day of School for Pre-K(4) from August 13, 2020 to August 11, 2020
Change Fall Break from October 12-16, 2020 to October 8-14, 2020

The Administration will discuss plans to address the projected budget deficit for FY 2020. In the coming months, the administration will also present a multi-year budget plan which addresses how it anticipates providing stabilization to the school's operations.

Uptown Parent Report
- We are looking forward to working with the school for the next beautification day on March 28th and we are appreciative of the support the school has provided for that event.
- We have just finished our PTO grants cycle and we are happy that we have been able to help many classrooms at both campuses and programs.
- We are looking forward to a remediation plan to address the current budget concerns and trust that the board and administration will act in the best interest of the students.
